This is why TV was invented! MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000) has been a cult classic since its beginnings in 1989. Joel Hodgson created it and he also hosted it. Mike Nelson directed the show later and he would also star on the show.

The robots would also be there. Cambot shows everything that Mike and the bots see. Gypsy is the girl who loves Richard Basehart. Tom Servo is the bubble-gum machine who has multiple selves that can sing. Crow is the wise-ass who always gets it in the end because of his laziness and that.

But what makes this show is that Joel (or Mike) and the 'bots riff on a bad movie such as "The Brain that wouldn't die" or "The Beast of Yucca Flats".

Too bad it ended in 1999. But no fear...There are two Riff Places. One is "Cinematic Titanic" with Joel and RiffTrax which is done by Mike Nelson.
