Hover Fly

One of the most underrated insects are Hoverflies.

Hoverflies look like bees, but unlike bees they don't sting, they have two wings instead of four, their antenna are smaller, and their eyes are completely different.

Now what would you rather have on your hand?

The larvae of the hoverfly eats destructive insects such as aphids, scale insects, and whiteflies.

The adult is very good with pollination of flowers and the only thing that can stop hoverflies are spiders, wasps, and flycatchers.
